Job summary

Avient Corporation in Ohio is seeking a Production Operator to set up and operate equipment that blends, mixes, or transports chemicals, ensuring quality and cost efficiency. You will also perform machine maintenance and data recording while following safety and regulatory rules.

This role offers 2nd and 3rd shift options (1:00 PM–11:30 PM and 7:00 PM–5:30 AM) with a $1 shift premium on the 3rd shift, starting pay at $20 per hour for entry-level candidates and growth through milestone pay

This role starts at $20.00 per hour for entry-level candidates.

As you reach key service milestones and are in good standing, you’ll be eligible for step‑progression pay increases. It’s our way of recognizing consistency, commitment, and your contributions as you grow with Avient.

We also consider experience when determining starting pay, and 3rd Shift comes with a $1.00 per hour SHIFT PREMIUM!

Hours:

2nd shift: 1:00PM - 11:30PM (Monday through Thursday)

3rd shift: 7:00PM - 5:30AM (Monday night through Thursday night)

What is the job: As a Production Operator at Avient, you'll set up and operate equipment to blend, mix, or transport chemicals that make up our customer products, ensuring high quality and cost efficiency. You'll also be responsible for machine maintenance, quality control, data recording, and supporting the company's vision and principles while adhering to safety and regulatory rules.
