Job description

Production Operator

3rd shift

Starting hourly rate: $24.60 per hour

Job Responsibilities:

  • Make equipment adjustments to ensure proper specifications are met.
  • Perform quality checks and record results.
  • Change settings on equipment during changeovers.
  • Record all production data accurately into the MDIS system.
  • Perform routine maintenance on equipment as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Ability to work safely in a manufacturing environment and follow all safety rules.
  • Maintain high standards of housekeeping.
  • Proficient in computer data entry and reporting, including quality data and comments related to production/loading operations.
  • Recognize measurements outside specified ranges using measuring devices such as tape measures (down to 1/32") and micrometers (down to 0.001”).
  • Follow instructions on work orders to complete tasks.
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office and email navigation.
  • Ability to operate plant equipment and troubleshoot minor issues.
  • Familiarity with hand tools (hammer, wrench, screwdrivers, pliers, putty knife).
  • Good communication skills and ability to recognize unsafe conditions.
  • Cooperate with team members and understand the importance of safety, quality, and productivity.
  • Learn procedures and retain information for ongoing use.
  • Use online tools to monitor product specifications and ensure compliance.
  • Make adjustments to machinery and processes to meet specifications.
  • Be trained and certified in forklift operation and safe equipment handling.

Rate of pay may be adjusted based on qualifications and experience.
