We constantly evolve to meet the distinct clinical needs of ophthalmic surgeons through our dedicated partnership with surgeon-designers, bringing innovation to ophthalmology.Job SummaryResponsible for setting up, operating and assisting with maintaining various manual and automated production equipment throughout the production process as well as troubleshooting component parts, including motion sensors, control components, photosensors, and other vital technology. In addition, support company’s buildings, grounds, and infrastructure are safe, compliant, clean and efficient. This position is onsite in Vista, CA. Please note that relocation assistance is not available for this role.Key ResponsibilitiesMachine Operation: Set up, calibrate, and operate production machinery according to standard operating procedures (SOPs).Quality Control: Monitor production output and inspect product to ensure they meet strict quality standards.Troubleshooting & Repair: Diagnosing and repairing electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic faults in production machinery.PLC and Robotics Support: Make programming and configuring changes in automation equipment PLCs and HMI components.Material Handling: Load raw materials, transfer parts, and prepare completed products for packaging and shipping.Documentation & Reporting: Document production metrics, downtime, and inventory levels in logs or digital tracking systems. Record maintenance activities, parts usage, and system changes in logs.Safety Compliance: Adhere to all health, safety, and OSHA regulations, wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).Secondary / Additional DutiesFacility Maintenance: Assure Facility activities are supporting Manufacturing, Distribution and Warehousing needsSafety Adherence: Participate in Safety Team to assure compliance with OSHA, lockout/tagout (LOTO), and safety proceduresDistribution and Warehouse: Assure activities are supporting Manufacturing, Distribution and Warehousing needsIT Support: Assist in basic computer and other system support for Vista FacilitiesFacility Management: ensures that company’s buildings, grounds, and infrastructure are safe, compliant, and efficient by managing maintenance, security, cleaning, and clean room complianceQualificationsEducationHigh school diploma or GED equivalent.
