Kimberly-Clark Maumelle, AR seeks a Production Operator Maintainer to support 12‑hour shift operations and minor equipment maintenance. You will troubleshoot processes, document training, and escalate issues while ensuring safety and quality across a leading consumer goods line.

The role emphasizes practical problem solving, teamwork with Process Technicians and adherence to PPE, gowning, and hygiene standards in an FDA-influenced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

  • Are 18 years or older and authorized to work in the United States.
  • Have a state and/or US Department of Education accredited high school diploma, GED Grade 12 certificate.
  • 1+ years of continuous work experience.
  • 3+ years of hands‑on process/leadership in a manufacturing environment.
  • Have basic computer knowledge, mechanical aptitude and good math skills.
  • Are able to maintain a work schedule of 12-hour shifts, including nights, weekends, holidays and overtime.
  • Successfully passing a hands‑on mechanical assessment and skill knowledge evaluation is required to be considered for this role.
  • Can pass a pre‑employment assessment and a pre‑employment drug + background screening.
  • Can pass post‑offer / pre‑hire Physical Ability Test (PAT).
  • Adhere to all Quality Requirements including strict Gowning and Hygiene requirements.
  • Must be able to wear the required PPE while performing tasks.
  • Must be able to lift 40 pounds twice each hour. Ascend and descend stairs, ladders, and ramps. Perform bending, twisting, stooping, and crouching movements.

  • In this role, you will: require a basic understanding of hand tools and machine parts to adjust/repair equipment as needed.
  • Require a basic understanding of equipment operations and troubleshooting to adjust the process when necessary.
  • Engage appropriate resources while following an escalation process.
  • Facilitate shift hand-off meetings with oncoming peers/teams.
  • Advise the Machine Crew Leader on training needs and coordinate training for new hires and staff not certified in the position.
  • Participate in on-shift problem solving as needed.
  • Work closely with Day Process Technicians to document and train Production Operators.
  • Understand asset theory of operations and troubleshoot during upset conditions and follow start/stop procedures.
  • Support reliability and cost improvements to meet budgeted expectations.

  • Require a basic understanding of hand tools and machine parts and can utilize them to adjust and/or make repairs to equipment as this role includes minor maintenance work.
  • Require a basic understanding of equipment operations and troubleshooting skills to make process adjustment when necessary.
  • Engaging appropriate resources while following an escalation process.
  • Facilitate shift hand-off meeting with oncoming peer/team.
  • Advise Machine Crew Leader on team training needs and working with MCL to coordinate all training of new hire/transitional employees, reporting on the line, that are not certified in position.
  • Participate with on shift problem solving, as needed.
  • Work closely with Day Process Technicians to document and train assigned Production Operators.
  • Understands asset theory of operations and can troubleshoot process issues during upset conditions and be able to follow shut-down/start-up procedures.
  • Support reliability and cost improvements such that productivity and maintenance spending meet or exceed budgeted expectations.

  • Prefer 1+ years of hands‑on industrial maintenance experience or 2+ years of maintenance classes from a Technical Institute.
  • Experience working in an FDA regulated facility.
  • Experience working in a Lean manufacturing environment.
