Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred but not required.
• Experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting preferred.
• Prior experience using scales preferred.
• Basic mechanical capability and computer skills required.
• Detail-oriented, self-starter with a positive attitude is essential.
• Team player with a willingness to learn and collaborate.
• Ability to read, write and communicate in English related to safety.

Responsibilities

• Safely meet production work requirements by following procedures and work instructions.
• Operate equipment to meet production schedules.
• Assemble, package, and label products; complete production records.
• Perform quality checks and maintain required documentation.
• Inspect finished and in-process products per defined specs.
• Complete rework as necessary and coordinate with other areas to resolve issues.
• May set up, calibrate, and perform routine maintenance tasks.
• Suggest improvements and maintain a positive team attitude.
• Cross-train in other areas as needed.
• Maintain housekeeping and prevent pollution or negative environmental impact.
• Promote safety culture and participate in waste reduction.
• Work overtime as needed.
• Other duties as directed by Lead or Supervisor.
