Production Operator - Location: Kansas City 2 (by the airport)

This position is responsible for the daily operations of the production floor, ensuring safety, quality, and production goals are met in compliance with all applicable legal and food safety requirements.

Essential Functions

• Manage daily activities of the production line(s), ensuring product safety, quality, and throughput standards are met.
• Complete quality and production reports hourly; perform visual and physical inspections to prevent non-conforming goods; report defects appropriately.
• Follow all safety protocols, guidelines, and regulations, including Niagara’s GMP and Food Safety Standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and housekeeping in all production areas.
• Ensure raw materials are stocked to minimize downtime.
• Work across all production areas, troubleshoot minor issues, and perform relief duties as needed.
• Maintain regular attendance; work 12-hour shifts, day or night, on a rotating schedule based on production needs.
• Note: Duties may change at any time with or without notice.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications: 0 years of experience in manufacturing or related fields; experience in the role is not required but preferred.

Preferred Qualifications: 2 years of experience in manufacturing, in the role, and managing people or projects.

Experience may include a combination of work and education.
