Production Operator Lead

This position is responsible for collaborating with the Production Supervisor to assist with daily operations of the production floor, ensuring the shift meets safety, quality, and production goals in compliance with all legal and food safety requirements.

Essential Functions

• Assist Production Supervisor with daily activities, ensuring product safety, quality, and throughput.
• Communicate with the previous shift regarding challenges and opportunities.
• Conduct walkthroughs to verify safety, housekeeping, and quality compliance.
• Assist with batching minerals and preparing for changeovers.
• Order, inspect, and manage raw materials, and perform quality checks.
• Verify job details in systems like Oracle and Warehouse Management System.
• Support with production reports and line efficiency improvements.
• Follow safety and GMP standards at all times.
• Maintain regular attendance and work 12-hour shifts as scheduled.

Qualifications

Minimum: 4 years’ experience in manufacturing, in the specific role, and managing people/projects. Preferred: 6 years’ experience in the same areas.
