Job summary

Rust-Oleum in Brooklyn Park, MN, seeks a full-time 2nd shift supervisor to lead production operations, ensure safety, quality, and sanitation, and coordinate activities of associates on fill lines, mixers, storage locations, and forklifts.

You will read schedules, plan work, train new associates, monitor performance, and uphold quality. The position offers medical, dental, life, disability, 401(k), paid holidays, and vacation time, plus a $0.75/hour shift differential.

JOB DESCRIPTION Tasks PROFILE:Typical tasks for this position include (but are not limited to) the following:

• Enforce safety, quality, and sanitation regulations.
• Direct and coordinate the activities of associates engaged in the production or processing of goods, such as fill lines, mixers, storage location, and forklifts.
• Read and analyze charts, work orders, production schedules, and other records and reports to determine production requirements and to evaluate current production estimates and outputs.
• Confer with other supervisors to coordinate operations and activities within or between departments.
• Plan and establish work schedules, assignments, and production sequences to meet production goals.
• Inspect materials, products, or equipment to detect defects or malfunctions.
• Demonstrate equipment operations and work and safety procedures to new associates or assign associates to experienced workers for training.
• Observe work and monitor all indicators to ensure that operators conform to production or processing standards.
• Confer with management or subordinates to resolve worker problems, complaints, or grievances.
• Adhere to Quality standard and audit batch paperwork hourly.

Job Type: Full-time

Schedule: 2nd Shift: Monday - Thursday 4:00PM - 2:30AM

Targeted Hourly Range: $20.00-$24.00/hour, bonus eligible.

2nd Shift Differential: $0.75/hour
