Job summary

Merit Medical Systems in South Jordan, UT, is seeking a Production Operator III for the Sensors line (2:00pm – 10:30pm). The role includes performing various assembly and processing tasks, rotating through the assembly line, and complying with quality specifications and safety standards.

The position requires at least three months of assembly experience, ability to read/write/speak English (Spanish or local language capability helpful), and strong attention to detail with excellent manual

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write and speak English, Spanish or meet local language requirement.
• Three months of assembly experience required.
• Capable of rotating through and performing all tasks on the assembly line including technical tasks requiring precise motor skills.
• Ability to visually check work performed and identify whether a product has been assembled correctly.
• Ability to follow instructions in performing repetitive tasks.
• Attentiveness in performing tasks.
• Ability to provide new process suggestions
• Ability to work as a team member in assembling sterile medical products.
• Ability to meet line rate expectations.

Responsibilities

• Rotate through and perform all production assembly operations.
• Visually inspect on-line and in-process products to ensure specifications.
• Assist with product and machine change-overs under supervision.
• Operate equipment and ensure assembled products meet quality standards.
• Reject non-conforming products and maintain safety standards.
• Support testing equipment for periodic product/process checks.
• Work overtime as required and perform related tasks as needed.
