Job description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced individual to join our team for the 1st shift. This position involves working from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM Monday through Thursday and 5:00 AM to 1:30 PM on Friday, with one mandatory weekend shift on the last Saturday of each month.

Key Responsibilities
  • Follow daily schedules for each line to ensure timely running of orders.
  • Set up lines with necessary machinery, raw materials, and packing supplies.
  • Schedule setups to minimize downtime between order packaging.
  • Prepare machine parts, raw materials, and packaging in advance.
  • Execute setups quickly and efficiently to reduce non-value-added time.
  • Meet ongoing packaging requests for long runs from Assemblers/Fillers.
  • Clean and store parts daily following 5S principles.
  • Maintain cleanliness and presentation of tank interiors and exteriors.
  • Periodically change tank contents to maintain effectiveness.
  • Operate a forklift to move, set up, and store bulk materials.
  • Maintain and clean the designated setup area in Maintenance.
  • Comply with Health, Safety, and Environmental requirements and procedures at all times.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned.
Qualifications
  • At least one year of directly applicable experience.
  • Proficient in reading, writing, and communicating in English.
  • Ability to interpret and follow instructions from operational manuals, company procedures, and guidelines.
  • Basic knowledge of mathematics, including percentages, fractions, and decimals, for setting equipment flow rates and volume specifications.
  • Ability to use hand and power tools with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Possess mechanical skills and abilities for setup, maintenance, and parts cleaning tasks.
  • May be required to obtain and retain a forklift operator's certificate.
  • Able to use and wear all required PPE equipment and clothing with or without reasonable accommodation.
