Job summary

Merit Medical in Pearland, TX is seeking a production assembler to perform on-line assembly, visual inspection, and device testing in a sterile production environment.

You will rotate through the assembly line, follow procedures, meet line-rate expectations, and contribute to process improvements while adhering to safety standards.

Qualifications

• Three months of assembly experience required.
• Ability to rotate through and perform all tasks on the assembly line.
• Ability to visually check work and identify proper assembly.
• Capable of following instructions in repetitive tasks.

May include but not limited to performing one or more processes within quality specifications while visually monitoring the machines/equipment used to ensure proper function.2. Ability to rotate through the assembly line, performing all production assembly operations.3. Performs on-line and in-process visual inspection of products to ensure it meets specifications per work order and procedure instructions.4. Assists Team Leader and Technicians with product and/or machine change-overs.5. Operates equipment at or above reasonable expectancy levels.6. Ensures product assembled meets quality standards.7. Rejects product outside of specifications.8. Adheres to safety standards.9. May operate a variety of testing equipment required for periodic product and process testing.10. Working overtime may be required for this position.11.
