Responsibilities

  • Assemble medical products on an assembly line with tasks rotating.
  • Rotate through the assembly line as needed.
  • Perform on-line and in-process visual inspections to ensure specs meet work orders.
  • Assist Team Leader and Technicians with product and/or machine change-overs.
  • Ensure assembled products meet quality standards and reject those outside specs.
  • Adhere to safety standards and operate testing equipment as required.
  • Work overtime as needed and perform related tasks.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS PERFORMED
  • 1. Assembles medical products on an assembly operation, performing a variety of tasks on a rotating basis.
  • 2. Ability to rotate through the assembly line.
  • 3. Performs on-line and in-process visual inspection of products to ensure specifications per work order and procedure are followed.
  • 4. Assists Team Leader and Technicians with product and/or machine change-overs.
  • 5. Ensures product assembled meets quality standards.
  • 6. Rejects product outside of specifications.
  • 7. Adheres to safety standards.
  • 8. May operate a variety of testing equipment required for periodic product and process testing.
  • 9. Working overtime may be required for this position.
  • 10. Performs other related tasks, as required.

SUMMARY OF MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
  • * Must be able to read, write and speak English, Spanish or meet local language requirement.
  • * Demonstrates competencies and ability to rotate in a specific assembly line or work cell.
  • * Ability to perform a variety of assembly tasks requiring dexterity and fine motor skills.
  • * Ability to visually check work performed and identify whether a product has been assembled correctly.
  • * Ability to follow instructions in performing repetitive tasks.* Attentiveness in performing tasks.
  • * Ability to work as a member of a team in assembling sterile medical products.
  • * Ability to meet line rate expectations.
PREFFERED QUALIFICATIONS
  • * Three months of experience, preferably in manufacturing.
  • * Three to six months of longevity in the same company.
  • * At the Corporate site, if the position is on a Spanish-language line, it is preferred that the individual be Spanish speaking or bilingual (English/Spanish).
