Job summary

CoorsTek Inc. in Oak Ridge, TN seeks a Production Operator III to operate multiple production lines and ensure parts meet specifications. You will read blueprints, measure with micrometers and calipers, and maintain a clean, safe work area while following work orders.

The role requires at least 1 year in manufacturing, strong math skills, and the ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced ceramic/metals environment. Training provided and safety first.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred, but not necessary.
• Minimum of 1 year manufacturing experience.
• Ability to read/interpret standard and metric measurements.
• Understand and act on verbal and/or written instructions.
• Strong math skills with basic arithmetic (addition, subtraction, multiplication and division).

Responsibilities

• Operate multiple production equipment to manufacture parts per work orders.
• Inspect parts to ensure they meet customer/quality specifications and escalate issues.
• Transfer parts to next process via computer software.
• Load, unload and stack product; move with hand-truck, forklift, crane or hoist.
• Maintain clean and safe work area; adhere to safety guidelines.
• Train incoming operators on processes and procedures.

Works within a team environment to meet departmental goals.
