Job summary

CoorsTek in Golden, CO is seeking a Production Operator III to perform multiple processes in the manufacture of technical ceramics and metals. You will work in a team to meet goals, inspect parts for quality, and maintain a clean workspace while using precise measuring tools and equipment.

Qualifications include 1 year of manufacturing experience, GD&T knowledge, micrometers, calipers, and CMM or SmartScope familiarity. A HS diploma is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent preferred, but not necessary.
• Experience: A minimum of 1-year applicable manufacturing experience.
• Knowledge: Read/interpret standard and metric measurements and blueprints.
• Skills: Intermediate math skills including add/subtract/multiply/divide.
• Measurement: Handheld instruments and advanced metrology equipment experience.
• Attitude: Attention to detail and ability to work with diverse teams.

Responsibilities

• Operate multiple, complex production equipment per work orders.
• Make machine adjustments and escalate issues as needed.
• Inspect parts for adherence to customer/quality specs and flag nonconformities.
• Transfer parts to next process using computer systems.
• Load, unload, and stack product; transport with hand-truck, forklift, or crane.
• Maintain clean work area and wear required PPE.
• Train incoming operators on processes and procedures.
