Flowers Foods, Inc. is looking for a Production Operator II to join a team-focused environment in our Texas facility.

The role includes operating automated production equipment, initial diagnosis of machinery issues, and assisting in preventative maintenance and sanitation to ensure product safety and quality. The operator will contribute to a safe work environment, master Enterprise software data input and reporting, and perform on-the-job activities that impact product safety and quality.

Qualifications

• Two years or more of related experience.
• High School diploma or equivalency plus successful completion of a technical certification course (i.e., HVAC, auto maintenance/repair, etc).
• Equivalent military training, other related technical training, or successful completion of at least 45 college credit hours may be substituted for technical training.

Responsabilités

• Check and adhere to production work schedule for job assignments and work reporting times.
• Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures (EEO, Safety, etc.).
• Maintain cleanliness of work area at all times while on duty.
• Operate facility metal detectors; must be fully trained and certified.
• Set up equipment following established procedures and safety guidelines.
• Verify product quality meets required standards throughout operation.
• Make adjustments to equipment to maintain performance and speeds.
• Remove defective product and ensure only compliant product advances.
