Stored Energy Systems (SENS) in Longmont, CO is seeking a Production Operator II for the 2nd shift to assemble products to exact specifications and uphold top-quality standards. You will work closely with engineering and production teams to ensure efficiency and reliability of assemblies.

The role requires 2+ years in assembly, knowledge of Lean and 5S, ability to read drawings, and proficiency with hand and power tools.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in an assembly role.
• Understanding of Lean principles and 5S methodology.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
• Strong understanding of assembly techniques, tools, and equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Proficient with hand tools, power tools and machinery.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and work collaboratively.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Proactive and initiative in daily tasks.
• Ability to lift and carry heavy objects and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Assemble products according to specifications, blueprints, and work instructions.
• Inspect and test components and assemblies to ensure quality.
• Identify and troubleshoot assembly issues and improve processes.
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to refine procedures.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment and follow safety protocols and company policies.
• Mentor and train junior assemblers, providing guidance and support.
• Participate in continuous improvement activities to enhance efficiency and product quality.
