Job summary

Stored Energy Systems LLC (SENS) in Longmont, CO, is seeking a skilled Production Operator II to assemble products to exact specifications and test components for quality. You will collaborate with engineering and production to refine procedures, mentor junior staff, and participate in continuous improvement initiatives.

First shift runs Mon-Thu 6:00am–3:30pm and Fri 6:00am–10:00am. Applicants should have 2+ years in assembly, Lean/5S knowledge, and strong reading of drawings and schematics.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in an assembly role.
• Understanding of Lean principles and 5S.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and specifications.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and machinery.

Summary

We are seeking a skilled Production Operator II to join our team in the manufacturing industry. As a Production Operator II, you will be responsible for assembling products and ensuring that they meet the highest quality standards. You will work closely with our engineering and production teams to ensure that all products are assembled efficiently and effectively. Your attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment will be critical to your success in this role. 1st Shift: Mon-Thu 6:00am – 3:30pm and Fri 6:00am – 10:00am

Required Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in an assembly role.
• Understanding of Lean principles and 5S methodology.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
• Strong understanding of assembly techniques, tools, and equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and specifications.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and machinery.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks effectively and work collaboratively.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Proactive approach, demonstrating initiative in daily tasks.
• Ability to lift and carry heavy objects and stand for extended periods.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Work Environment And Physical Requirements

The position is based in a manufacturing environment. Candidates must be able to stand for approximately 80% of their shift, walk approximately 20% of their shift, and carry 60-80 lbs. Additionally, candidates must have the ability to push/pull up to 1000 lbs. on a pallet jack or cart as required.

This role is located on-site in Longmont, CO.

Base Compensation

The expected base compensation range is $24.00 - $26.50/hour.

Bonus

This position is eligible for an annual bonus based on individual and company performance.
