General Dynamics Ordnance and Tactical Systems is hiring a Production Operator II in Hampton, AR to support our manufacturing operations on site. You will operate automatic or semi-automatic machinery, monitor process controls, and help keep production within safety and quality guidelines.

The role involves following established procedures, reporting abnormalities, and performing basic equipment maintenance as needed.

Formación

• High School Diploma/GED required and 2-4 years' experience OR Equivalent Combination of Relevant Education &/or Experience.
• Preferred Vocational/Technical Training Degree.

Job Summary

• Sets up and operates automatic or semi-automatic machines and related equipment in a continuous production/processing operation


• Monitors meters, gauges, valves, flow ratios, temperatures, pressures, and related controls and guidelines to ensure adherence to production/process specifications


• Reports any malfunctions or abnormalities and makes minor adjustments and repairs to equipment


• Performs all work in accordance with established safety procedures

Physical Requirements

• Requires regular movement throughout GD-OTS facilities.


• Must be able to lift up to 45 pounds.


• May need to stand for long periods of time.


• Work may require employee to work inside and outside with exposure to changing climate and/or operate machinery.


• May be requested to work a different shift.


• Must be willing to work outside normal business hours as required.


• This position is Safety-Sensitive.
