Job summary

Sun Chemical, a leading producer of packaging and graphic solutions, seeks an Operator I Combo to operate production equipment across multiple areas with minimal direction and to fill in for other positions as needed.

Responsibilities include reviewing batch tickets, providing samples to the lab, performing preliminary quality checks, cleaning and labeling, and performing SAP inventory lookups while training others. Safety and teamwork are emphasized in this role.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Demonstrated safety knowledge and good verbal and written communication.
• Experience in a production/manufacturing environment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate production equipment and follow batch tickets.
• Provide samples to the lab and support quality checks.
• Report near misses and opportunities for improvement.
• Assist with cleaning, labeling, and waste disposal.
• Work with plant teams and participate in training.
