Job summary

Dentsply Sirona is hiring a Production Worker I for the Nupro Dept. #3735 on the Day Shift. The role involves operating a variety of manufacturing equipment, ensuring quality, and maintaining equipment and workspace.

Strong attention to detail and the ability to read English safety and process documents are essential. Required is a High School diploma or GED with up to 6 months of production experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals in English.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic and unit conversions using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in paperwork and processes.
• Willingness to cross-train for other duties within the department as needed.
• All external applicants must pass a basic reading, writing and math test during on-site interview.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor production equipment for filling, batching, labeling, machining, sorting, inspecting and packaging.
• Make simple machine adjustments and setup for changeovers as needed.
• Stand for extended periods (8+ hours) and inspect products and processes for quality.
• Handle materials and documentation, record production units and labor hours accurately.
• Follow safety, QA, GMP, SOP and FDA guidelines and wear required PPE.
• Maintain cleanliness of equipment and work area and assist with training of new staff.
