The Opportunity

The Production Operator plays a key role in supporting high-quality production activities, including label printing, application, and assembling Kit packs in various configurations. Responsibilities include operating (setup, shutdown, and cleaning) multiple pieces of equipment that produce customer-facing labels, performing quality checks, applying labels, and maintaining extensive documentation in digital and hard copy formats. This role also ensures a safe working environment, supports general housekeeping, and assists in production activities beyond their immediate scope. Success in this role requires multitasking in a dynamic environment, decisive decision-making, problem-solving skills, and a commitment to delivering high-quality products while adhering to GMP standards.

What You’ll Work On

  • Follow established GMP instructions precisely and without deviation.

  • Execute highly complex or specialized tasks with precision and efficiency.

  • Proactively monitor production activities, such as clearing minor jams and minimizing downtime, to ensure smooth workflow.

  • Immediately report any equipment malfunctions or product issues.

  • Operate multiple pieces of equipment in adherence to established procedures and specifications.

  • Complete work orders and other documentation accurately and on time.

  • Safely operate all equipment while promptly reporting incidents, injuries, or potential safety hazards.

  • Maintain accurate and legible records of production activities.

  • Inspect products and materials to ensure they meet visual and physical quality standards.

  • Perform basic calculations relevant to production tasks.

  • Maintain and replenish production materials as needed.

  • Perform general housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and organized workspace.

  • Collaborate as a positive and accountable team member to enhance production efficiency.

  • Communicate effectively in person, via phone, and through email.

  • Utilize computer-based programs, including Microsoft Office, SAP, and other specialized production tools.

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent

  • Ability to lift up to 20 lbs

  • Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, division, and multiplication)

  • Proficiency with basic computer tools (data entry, inventory software, Microsoft Office)

  • Previous experience in manufacturing within a GMP environment

  • Familiarity with ISO-standard manufacturing processes

Preferred Qualifications

  • 1 year of experience in medical device, pharmaceutical, or similar filling operations

  • Basic proficiency in English

  • Familiarity with SAP or similar software

The base pay for this position is

$17.80 – $35.60/hour
