MEC (Mayville Engineering Company, Inc.) in Hazel Park, MI is seeking a production operator for the 2nd shift (2 pm to 10 pm EST). You will operate basic machinery, load/unload materials, and monitor operations under SOPs, while maintaining safety and quality standards.

The role requires following procedures, basic math, and ERP system use. Prior manufacturing experience is optional, with a high school diploma as a baseline requirement.

Responsible for operating basic machinery and ensuring efficient production processes under supervision. This role involves following established procedures, maintaining safety standards, and performing routine checks to ensure product quality.

Located in Hazel Park, MI. 2nd Shift - 2 pm to 10 pm EST.

Physical & Environmental Requirements

• Some physical demand; often lifts light to heavy-weight material. Frequent lifting/moving average weight (up to 50lbs/11-27 kgs) material.
• Ability to perform occasional to frequent pushing, pulling, bending, kneeling, twisting, crawling and/or reaching over a full work shift (8-12 hours).
• Ability to operate motorized vehicles over a full work shift (8-12 hours).
• Ability to stand and / or walk constantly over a full work shift on concrete (8-12 hours).
• May be exposed to noise levels for which hearing protection is required to be worn over a full work shift (8-12 hours).
