Position Details
  • Location: Sacramento, CA (Plant) - Acetylene production & filling
  • Schedule: Mon - Fri
  • Hourly Rate: $20 with $1 shift differential
Responsibilities
  • Safely handle gas products into cylinders, complying with regulations and SOPs.
  • Operate forklifts, perform material handling, inspection, and cylinder maintenance.
  • Inspect cylinders, conduct safety checks, analyze product purity and mixtures.
  • Handle high-pressure, medical, and cryogenic cylinders, prepare for filling, and label accurately.
  • Manage loading/unloading of cylinders, operate warehouse equipment.
  • Maintain paperwork per DOT, FDA, OSHA, and company standards.
  • Understand hazards and contents of gases, read labels, and ensure proper labeling.
  • Adhere to safety standards for hazardous materials.
  • Maintain a clean and organized plant environment.
  • Perform any other duties within your qualifications as requested.
Qualifications
  • HS Diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • At least one year of manufacturing or filling experience preferred.
  • Background in gas, welding, safety supply, or chemical industry preferred.
Skills & Abilities
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to read and understand safety data sheets.
  • Ability to work with diverse teams and provide excellent customer service.
  • Independent work capability and ability to meet deadlines under pressure.
  • Attention to detail and basic math skills.
