Position Summary
The Production Operator supports the Laser Processing business unit, formerly Spectralytics, and is responsible for producing, monitoring, measuring, and cleaning component parts. This role also involves performing machine procedures and processes.

This position's shift schedule is Monday through Thursday, 5am to 3pm.

Responsibilities
  • Operate production equipment following work instructions and prints, ensuring correct materials, tooling, processes, programs, and chemical handling.
  • Use microscopes or visual equipment to inspect parts regularly.
  • Inspect and monitor the quality of parts per visual and dimensional requirements.
  • Understand and adhere to the Quality Management System (QMS), ISO standards, and ensure compliance.
  • Complete relevant paperwork, including quality records, setup sheets, checklists, and process rate charts.
  • Record and report quantities, process parameters, and hours worked into the ERP system accurately.
  • Support and comply with the company's Quality System, ISO, and medical device requirements.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to collaborate, assist team members, provide input, and participate in meetings.
  • Cross-training ability in other production areas.
  • Proficiency with basic hand tools, measurement equipment, and production processes.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment, prioritize, and multitask.

Pay Range

USD $17.50 - USD $20.50 per hour.
