Job summary

STAAR Surgical Company is seeking a production associate to perform basic production functions and operate related equipment in a team-oriented environment. You will accurately document production information, follow SOPs, and maintain a clean, orderly work area while meeting quality and productivity targets.

Preferred candidates have a high school diploma or GED, good English communication, and basic computer skills.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Must be able to read, write and speak English.
• Ability to take direction from lead/supervisor and other management and contribute to departmental goals.
• Basic computer skills strongly preferred.

• Thorough knowledge and appropriate implementation of basic production functions.
• Completes required production documentation accurately.
• Consistently meets quality and productivity targets.
• Appropriately follows company policies, rules, and regulations.
• Be able to interact well with others and work in a team environment.
• Maintain work area environment in a clean and orderly manner.
• Operate production related equipment.
• Ability to accurately document production information according to applicable SOPs.
• Other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS

EDUCATION & TRAINING

• High School diploma or GED preferred.

EXPERIENCE

• 1 to 2 years experience in medical devices or other related industries preferred.

SKILLS

• Must be able to read, write and speak English.
• Ability to take direction from lead/supervisor and other management and contribute to departmental goals.
• Basic computer skills strongly preferred.

Pay range: $19 per hour - Final compensation/salary will be dependent on experience
