May be expected to handle heavy machinery.### **ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES**The essential functions of this position include but are not limited to the following:· Safe and effective operation and minor adjustments of all packaging equipment.· Proper handling, packaging, labeling, coding and marking of product.· Accurate and timely sampling of materials and communication to lab.· Accurate and timely documentation of your production day.· Safe, healthy and clean work environment.· Report all accidents or near misses to Lead/Supervisor. · Willing to support other production lines and assist Spray Operators.· Regular on time attendance.· Proper and timely communication of equipment performance to Operators/Leads. · Effective evaluation of the quality of all packaging raw materials consumed in the operation. Report any defects you encounter to Lead/Supervisor. · All product change overs are completed in an efficient and timely manner.### **KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED**· High school diploma or GED equivalent· Ability to follow written and verbal instructions· Ability to work independently and with a group in accordance with the company safety & sanitation standards.· Basic computer skills: Access, Outlook and SharePoint.· Ability to lift up to 55 lbs.· Ability to work on your feet the majority of the day.· Moderate to heavy stair climbing (including vertical ladders)### **WORKING CONDITIONS**This position operates in a production/plant environment 95% of the time. This position requires lifting up to 55 lbs. (25 kg). Incumbent must be willing to work in hot and/or cold environments.
