Job summary

Bio-Rad Laboratories is seeking a Production Operator for the Fill/Cap/Label/Freeze Dry department in Irvine, CA. This role supports filling, capping and labeling operations in a team-based production environment and follows GMP processes to ensure product quality.

The position operates on a third shift (10:00 PM to 6:30 AM) and requires basic familiarity with large-scale manufacturing equipment and strong computer system proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Supports filling, capping and labeling operations in team-based manufacturing processes.
• Delivers Semi-Finished Goods to Warehousing using carts or pallet trucks.
• Performs in-process and final quality inspection of components/product.
• Follows procedures and work instructions to execute production tasks.
• Completes required documentation following GDP.
• Completes inventory and quality transactions in SAP.

Job description

In this role as a Production Operator, you will work in the Fill/Cap/Label/Freeze Dry department to support manufacturing of Bio-Rad bottled product in compliance with established GMP processes and procedures.

This position is for a third shift operator (Hours: 10:00PM to 6:30AM)

How You'll Make An Impact

• Supports filling, capping and labeling operations of Bio-Rad bottled Product in team-based manufacturing processes which may require hand filling and/or use of semi-automated machinery.
• Performs delivery of Semi-Finished Goods to Warehousing using carts or pallet trucks when applicable.
• Performs in-process and final quality inspection of components/product.
• Follow procedures and work instructions to execute production tasks.
• Complete required documentation in an accurate and timely manner following Good Documentation Practices (GDP).
• Complete inventory and quality transaction in SAP Inventory System.

What You Bring

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Basic understanding/familiarity with large scale manufacturing equipment.
• Proficiency with computer systems.

Location:

This position must be based in Irvine, California and requires the employee to be located within commuting distance of the office.

Compensation:

The estimated hourly rate for this position is $17.78 to $24.52 at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be provided in writing at the time of offer, if applicable, and is based on several factors we believe fairly and accurately impact compensation, including geographic location, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, and other job permitted factors. This position is eligible for a variable annual bonus, which is dependent upon achievement of your individual objectives and Company performance.
