Job summary

Sibelco is seeking an Operator at the Crystal site to ensure installations operate per procedures and deliver the specified (semi-)finished product. You will monitor, adjust, and support maintenance activities while maintaining safety standards.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent and prior similar-role experience, with strong technical English. This permanent role offers growth within a collaborative team focused on sustainability and reliability.

Responsibilities

Handle and adjust installations according to procedures and policies.
Operate pumps, open/close taps, and manage equipment as needed.
Fix alerts and respond to production issues.
Test and inspect products to meet process specifications and quality.
Identify non-conformities and coordinate with others to ensure quality.
Monitor production output from each installation.
Perform auxiliary production tasks as directed by supervisors.
Assist maintenance technicians and electricians with maintenance activities.
Coordinate with weighbridge and bagging operators to ensure continuous production.
Enter production data into the required IT system.
Use PPE and ensure its safekeeping per safety policy.
