Job summary

BlueScope is hiring a Warehouse/Material Handler in Tacoma, WA to load, unload, and move materials in a fast-paced production setting. You will operate a forklift and assist with crane tasks while upholding safety and quality standards.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED and 2+ years of experience in a high-volume environment; forklift certification is preferred. Excellent benefits include a 401k and health coverage.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• 2+ years of experience in a high-volume production environment.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload materials from containers using appropriate tools.
• Monitor quality of material picked from lines and staged in the yard.
• Document and track movement of material per plant SOPs.
• Assist machine operators with die/raft changes.
• Follow safety rules and maintain good housekeeping.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
