Job summary

Dreyer's Grand Ice Cream, Inc. in California's manufacturing facility is seeking a production associate to support line operations on-site.

You will work on automated processes, maintain hygiene, and adhere to GMP and safety standards. You will collaborate with team members to meet daily production targets, perform troubleshooting, and ensure products meet customer specifications and food safety requirements.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Aptitude for automated mechanical processes with good troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
• Excellent interpersonal communication, math and problem solving skills.
• Ability to work multiple shifts and/or schedules.
• High School diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
• One-year related experience (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Maintain clean and organized areas following SOPs.
• Operate to standard procedures in area assigned.
• Ensure limited water usage and clean-as-you-go practices.
• Provide effective handover to the next shift.
• Drive production to meet customer specifications, quality and food safety.
• Monitor production to meet outputs through control of the manufacturing process.
• Communicate effectively with the team.
• Maintain health and safety and a positive safety culture.
