Job summary

Prairie Farms in Mindoro, WI is seeking a Production Worker 1 or 2 to perform general production activities in the manufacturing process.

The role requires following GMPs, safety procedures, and accurate production counts. Starting time will be determined by the supervisor based on business needs; candidates must read and interpret directions, perform basic math, and work flexible hours including weekends.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, interpret and understand written and oral directions.
• Must demonstrate basic math skills to calculate production yields and understand weights and measures.
• Must be able to verbally communicate, understand, and write in English.

Responsibilities

• Follow established production standards and perform all functions of the manufacturing process.
• Inspect equipment to assure proper operation and safety.
• Follow operational procedures and complete required paperwork.
• Adhere to GMPs, quality control, cleaning and sanitation procedures.
• Follow all safety procedures and record production counts accurately.
• Operate and assist with other areas of the plant as needed.
• Attend all job-related classes or seminars supplied by the company.
