Job summary

Silgan Containers in Fort Dodge, IA is hiring Production Associates to join our manufacturing team. No advanced manufacturing experience required—training will be provided to operate semi-automated equipment, assist with packaging, palletizing and material handling.

We offer starting pay of $21.64 per hour, overtime as needed, comprehensive benefits, 401(k) with company match, paid time off from day one, and opportunities to advance through training and certifications.

Qualifications

• High School or GED required.
• Willingness to learn to operate manufacturing equipment and complete required training.
• Ability to read and follow verbal and written instructions.
• Commitment to working safely and following procedures.
• Team-oriented with a can-do attitude.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor semi-automated manufacturing equipment to support production and quality.
• Monitor machine operation and ensure materials are fed correctly into equipment.
• Assist with packaging, palletizing, and material handling tasks.
• Perform clean-up, sorting, and general production support.
• Serve as relief operator to support production line operations.
