Job Description

As a Production Operator in the DES department, you will feed and catch cores on Develop Etch Strip lines. You will also have opportunities to cross-train in other areas such as AOI, Photoprint, Lamination, and Bondfilm.

Key Responsibilities
  • Measure line width and spacing to meet customer specifications.
  • Communicate with supervisors and managers, maintain a safe and clean work environment, report hazards.
  • Mix chemicals and perform equipment maintenance per schedule.
  • Set up and operate laminators, punch presses, and laser imaging systems.
  • Follow critical and month-end lists, monitor quality, and record data.
  • Assist in meeting safety and production goals.
  • Read blueprints, artwork, and panel IDs.
  • Participate in cross-training and collaborate on process improvements.
  • Handle hazardous waste according to safety protocols.
  • Report accidents, near misses, and safety concerns, and use PPE as required.
Qualifications
  • Effective English communication and math skills.
  • Good vision, color discrimination, and depth perception.
  • Ability to perform routine tasks, work in a team, and adapt to change.
  • Work up to 10 hours, with flexibility for overtime.
  • Lift up to 40 pounds, stand, bend, and lean for entire shifts.
  • Cross-training ability across various positions.
  • Ability to work safely with chemicals and physical agents.
  • Regular attendance is essential.
  • U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Residency required due to ITAR compliance.
Education and Experience
  • High school diploma or GED required.
