Ahlstrom is hosting an open interview day in De Pere, Wisconsin for Production Operators with a November 30, 2026 start. Starting pay is $27.80/hour with a $3.75/hour weekend shift premium and a rotating 12-hour schedule.

Job description

We are holding an open interview day to recruit for Production Operators for a start date on November 30, 2026. Our pay starts at $27.80/hour with a weekend shift differential of $3.75/hour!

• Date: Wednesday, November 11, 2026
• Time: 7:00 am - 3:00 pm
• Location: Nicolet Mill, 200 Main Avenue, De Pere, 54115
• Parking: Candidates will park in the alley and enter through door #14. There will be parking spaces reserved and public parking available as well. Candidates should bring their resumes and be ready for an immediate interview.

We are seeking Production Operators to join our De Pere, Wisconsin team. Operators provide support to multiple departments by assisting and/or operating paper mill equipment, including material handling equipment and tools. They are also responsible for obtaining supplies for Operators and performing general housekeeping.

• $1,300 retention bonus within 9 months
• $3.75 per hour weekend shift premiums! $1.10 per hour weekday night shift premiums!

The Essential Functions and Primary Responsibilities

• Must follow Ahlstrom's manufacturing and hygiene processes, procedures and policies, as applicable to the position's areas of responsibility, in order to meet and maintain the safety, quality, and regulatory compliance requirements for each grade of paper
• Assist equipment Operators in all areas of production
• Haul and hoist materials using powered industrial trucks and cranes; load and unload material from machines
• Assist with quality inspections
• Perform regular housekeeping
• Understand and apply safety standardsParticipate in safety improvements throughout the facility

Minimum Occupational Requirements

• High regard for performing safely and an ability to work well with a team
• Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis
• Ability to successfully pass a post-offer drug screen and background check
• Ability to work a 12-hour, rotating shift schedule

Physical Occupational Requirements

• Perform physical work, defined as lifting up to 100 lb. with assistance
• Frequent lifting and/or carrying of objects weighing up to 50 lbs
• Work at heights and near rapidly moving machinery
• Operate lift-truck and hoists
• Work in a hot and humid environment
