Job summary

Moog in Murphy, NC is hiring a Production Operator for onsite work. You will assemble electromechanical products, operate tooling and automated equipment, and monitor motor assemblies to meet specifications.

The role requires basic math, strong mechanical aptitude, and the ability to lift up to 40 lbs. Soldering experience is preferred or you may become certified after joining Moog.

Responsibilities

• Assemble electromechanical products using documentation and tooling; include rotor, stator sub-assembly and motor assembly.
• Operate machine stripper or hand tools to remove insulation from lead wires.
• Install lead wire pin connectors and operate drill drivers with feeder bowls.
• Load, monitor and maintain automated machinery; complete final motor assembly and test per specs.
• Prepare and package final motor/drive assemblies and cross-train across operations.
