Job summary

Express Employment Professionals - Cincinnati East is seeking a Production Operator to operate and monitor production processes used to manufacture specification-compliant assemblies and finished products.

The role requires good understanding of production processes, strong technical aptitude, and basic computer skills including MES/ERP and Microsoft Office. You will work on a rotating shift, perform start-ups and changeovers, maintain documentation, and uphold safety and quality procedures.

Qualifications

• Manufacturing, machine operation, or production experience preferred.
• Understanding of production processes and quality practices.
• Basic computer skills with MES/ERP and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor production equipment and processes.
• Perform start-ups and changeovers per specifications.
• Load equipment with parts and replace trays.
• Inspect lots and perform visual quality checks.
• Enter production status into terminals.
• Complete equipment/process conversions per instructions.
• Maintain production and batch documentation.
• Complete required MES documentation and approvals.

Position Summary

The Production Operator is responsible for operating and monitoring production processes used to manufacture specification-compliant assemblies and finished products.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor production equipment and processes.
• Perform production start-ups and changeovers according to specifications.
• Load production equipment with parts and replace trays as required.
• Inspect production lots and perform visual quality inspections.
• Enter production status information into production terminals.
• Follow instructions when completing equipment/process conversions.
• Maintain accurate production and batch documentation.
• Complete required documentation and approvals within MES.
• Follow established safety, quality, and production procedures.

Qualifications & Skills

• Previous manufacturing, machine operation, or production experience/training preferred.
• Good understanding of production processes.
• Strong technical aptitude.
• Quality and safety focused.
• Basic computer skills, including familiarity with systems such as MES, ERP software, and Microsoft Office.
