Job summary

Keystone Industries is seeking a production associate for our cleanroom environment in Gibbstown, NJ. The role involves reading batch cards, operating batch controllers, weighing materials, and packaging finished goods to GMP standards.

Shift B runs 6:45pm–7:00am, Tuesday through Friday. Requires 1 year in production, English fluency, and the ability to follow procedures with attention to detail. Salary starts at $22.00 per hour plus shift differential.

Responsibilities

  • Fill liquid batches as necessary.

  • Ideal Candidate:The ideal candidate will have prior production experience, preferably in a cleanroom.
  • Schedule:Shift B, 6:45pm - 7:00am Tuesday - Friday

EssentialJobFunctions:

  • Read and complete batch cards to fulfill order demands to GMP standards for clean room operation, with instruction and supervision; accurately recording of information on batch cards.

  • Assist in performing QA and QC checks (torque, labels, containers, packaging) when designated byLeadsandSupervisor.
  • Assist in equipment adjustments, as necessary, to maintain proper product quality control with supervision.
  • Cleaning equipment as required to maintain effective and efficient operation.
  • Perform general housekeeping duties; maintain clean workspace andfollowprocedures for gowning, cleaning of floors and surfaces per detailed procedures.
  • Assist in spill clean-up when designated by Supervisor.
  • Involvement with waste handling processes:dispose of waste in appropriate containers and fill out appropriate waste logs.
  • Additional duties/tasks as needed/requested by management.

Safety:

  • Complies with all safety regulations; maintains a safe work environment at all times.
  • Adheres to always wearing the proper PPE/Safety equipment.
  • Understands and complies with all written safety, health, and environmental procedures.
  • Attends all required scheduled Health, Safety and Environmental training sessions.
  • Participates in required Health, Safety and Environmental initiatives and programs.
  • Perform required administrative functions related to Health, Safety and Environmental functions such as completing forms, checklists, and log sheets.

Qualifications:

  • 1 year experience in production setting.
  • Fluent with the English language.

  • Organized and ability to multi-task with high attention to detail.
  • Math skills – Ability to convert lbs., grams, kilos, ounces, liters, etc.
  • Ability to work independently as well as on a team.
  • Ability to conform to shifting prioritiesanddemands.

Desired Skills:

  • Experience with utilizing ERP, MRP, or Inventory Management Systems preferred.
  • Experience working in a manufacturing or production environment.
  • Mechanical aptitude.
  • 1 year experience in clean room production setting.

Education/Certifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED

Physical Demands andWork Environment:

Physical Demands: Employee is required to walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; balance; stoop; bend; kneel and climb; andlift/move up to 50 lbs.on a daily basis. In addition, must be able to maneuver and move 30 to 55-gallon drums or up to 450 pounds utilizing proper drum material handling equipment and/or the proper techniques.

Work Environment: Employee frequently works near moving mechanical equipment and chemicals and will be exposed to varying temperatures.
