Position Summary

Our Chemical Production Operators are key to our growth and are responsible for the mixing and blending of liquid and powder chemical raw materials into a finished product. No previous experience is necessary! Training will be provided!

Hours: Monday-Friday 2:00 PM-10:30 PM. If team members perform satisfactorily, they receive a 5% increase after the 90-day probation. Second shift team members receive a $1.75/hour shift premium. Base rate $21.42 + shift premium $1.75 = $23.17

Responsibilities
  1. Adhere to all safety and quality policies.
  2. Follow safety standards, work standards, processes, procedures, and batch/manufacturing instructions.
  3. Work with various types and sizes of mixing and blending equipment, machines, tow motors, and lift assist equipment to load, unload, and process production batches.
  4. Clean equipment and package finished products.
  5. Understand and follow processes and procedures; accurately weigh and add raw materials; complete paperwork thoroughly.
  6. Contribute to continuous improvement by suggesting process updates.
Qualifications

Mandatory:

  • High School Diploma/GED
  • Commitment to safety and quality
  • Team-oriented and respectful attitude
  • Ability to understand and perform processes across departments
  • Willing and able to work 2nd shift
  • Ability to drive a forklift
  • Ability to wear a respirator, climb stairs, and lift up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to read and understand written instructions in English

Preferred:

  • Forklift/Tow Motor experience
  • 1-3 years of production or warehouse experience
  • Experience in Lean Manufacturing
  • SAP experience
  • Basic knowledge of chemistry related to production processes
