Job summary

Mitsubishi Performance Polymers Division in Greer, SC, is seeking a full-time Production Operator to support production productivity and quality on a 12-hour shift cycle. You will build production recipes, monitor the line, and maintain a clean, safe work area while following PPE, LOTO and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for production productivity and production quality.
• Building production recipes and monitoring the production line.
• Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follow prescribed safety regulations.
• Comply with all safety procedures, including PPE, LOTO, and safe lifting techniques, ensuring Operator safety for themselves as well as coworkers.
• Attends Shift Team Meetings (Start of shift).
• Assist with line clearing and product changeover.
• Responsible for maintaining plant cleanliness.
• Assist with prescribed preventative maintenance on machines as required.
• Complete daily checklists.
• Complete training book (APO) within 90-day probationary period.
• Participate in all Safety Requirements (CBT, Safety Observations, Safety Meetings, and 6S Audits).
• Work the schedule rotation - 12 hour shifts, 4 days on/4 days off. Shifts will rotate every 4 weeks from Days (7a-7p) to Nights (7p-7a).
