Job summary

Promedmolding is seeking a Production Operator to perform manual, semi-automated or automated tasks for sub-assemblies and final products. The role emphasizes productivity, quality, on-time delivery and safety for self and teammates, with guidance from management.

Responsibilities include following SOPs, operating equipment, and supporting cross-functional projects. The position requires attention to documentation, the ability to stand and sit for extended periods, and strong English

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write, speak and comprehend written and verbal instructions in English.
• Fine motor skills are required in hands/wrist with good hand/eye coordination.
• Ability to stand and sit for extended periods.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and meet deadlines.

• Follows manufacturing procedures, including documentation of product traceability.
• Operates the required manufacturing equipment in a safe and efficient manner using designated tools.
• Completes assembly-related tasks like gluing, heat-shrinking, and resistance welding.
• Supports research and development projects, as needed.
• Performs press setups, as required.
• Reads, comprehends and performs duties as outlined in the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP).
• Follows all start up and shut down procedures.
• May provide temporary support to other production teams as business needs demand.
• Meets expectations of regular, reliable attendance.
• Other Duties as Needed: Any other duties and tasks as deemed necessary and appropriate.

The Production Operator is responsible for performing a variety of manual, semi-automated or automated tasks necessary for the manufacturing of sub-assemblies and/or final product. The Production Operator is responsible for maintaining productivity, quality, on-time delivery and safety of self and co-workers. This position operates under minimal guidance from management or senior staff. The Production Operator ensures ProMed’s brand, philosophy, systems, policies, and procedures are properly implemented and observed.

Required

• Experience using a microscope/reticle;
• Experience in thermoplastic or silicone molding and inspection;
• Clean room component or device level manufacturing experience;
• Knowledge of ISO 13485 (current) Standards.
