Job summary

Weyerhaeuser is seeking entry level production team members for the Bruce Lumber facility. This position is night shift with on-the-job training and opportunities for growth. We emphasize safety, a strong work ethic, and a positive attitude.

Starting rate $18.82 per hour plus $1.40 night shift premium. Full benefits including medical, dental, and vision, 401K match, and an annual bonus. Applicants must meet qualifications and complete pre-employment steps.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Leadership and communication skills.
• Must personally complete the employment application.
• Successful completion of a pre-employment drug screen, background check and physical.
• Able to work overtime, holidays, as well as night and rotating shifts.
• Able to perform labor-intensive work.
• Able to work in extreme temperatures, in dusty and noisy conditions, while wearing safety equipment.
• Able to complete forklift training.
• Able to work safely around moving manufacturing equipment and machinery.
• Able to lift 2-20 pounds regularly, climb steps and ladders, work from height, and stand or walk for 2-3 hours at a time for 10 hours.
• Forklift experience is preferred.
• Basic computer skills a plus.

• Responsible for safely operating equipment and conducting housekeeping activities in each assigned area.
• Feeding product or placing product onto equipment for processing or removing items after processing.

• Communicating with team members and leadership to improve safety and operating performance as well as meet job expectation.

Weyerhaeuser Company is currently looking for Entry Level Production team members to join our Bruce Lumber facility. This position is solely for the night shift. Night shift premiums - $1.40/hr.
