Job summary

Atlantic Coca-Cola Bottling Company is seeking a Production Operator to safely and efficiently run bottling and canning equipment while following SOPs. The role focuses on quality checks, sanitation, and adherence to GMP standards on the Atlantic, IA production floor.

You will monitor quality and safety, replenish supplies, and interact professionally with visitors to uphold the Coca-Cola brand. Flexibility for varied hours and weekend work may be required.

Qualifications

• High School degree with at least a year of general work experience.
• Previous production environment experience or machine operation experience is desired.
• Food-grade manufacturing background and understanding of food safety regulations is desired.
• Ability to operate manufacturing equipment.
• Ability to read, write, follow process flow charts, and problem-solving are essential.
• Good math, inspection, and problem-solving skills are needed.
• Good interpersonal communication skills are needed.
• Excellent team-player with the ability to interact with multiple departments.
• Highly-motivated self-starter, with the ability to work with minimal oversight.
• Regular, consistent attendance is an essential job function.
• Flexible with the ability to adapt to varying situations and a fast-paced environment.
• Other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Operator manufacturing equipment while following SOPs, safety, food safety and GMP requirements.
• Assist with equipment and area preparation and setup, and cleaning/sanitation.
• Perform quality, safety, and regulatory compliance monitoring.
• Regularly inspect product.
• Replenish supplies as needed.
• Support and follow a strong safety culture and maintain a clean production area.
• Ensure professional contact with visitors to represent the Coca-Cola brand.
• Hold high accountability for work performance to ensure quality.
• Offer proactive suggestions for production-related problems.
• Prepare and submit various production-related reports.
• Perform other duties as required.
