Production Operator Blends - Evening Shift

Position Details

Production Operator - Evening Shift (2 p.m. - 10:30 p.m.)

Reports to: Production Supervisor

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

Job Summary

The Production Operator is responsible for operating and maintaining equipment in a factory environment, handling materials, packing, palletizing, shipping & receiving, and adhering to safety, quality, and sanitation standards.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Follow safety procedures including Lockout/Tagout, PPE use, and working at heights.
  • Perform quality checks, ensure compliance with FDA, GMP, SQF standards.
  • Operate equipment, troubleshoot issues, follow production schedules.
  • Maintain cleanliness, support continuous improvement initiatives, and manage inventory.
  • Assist in developing SOPs, ensure product safety, and meet production targets.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • 1-2 years manufacturing experience preferred.
  • Computer skills and familiarity with ERP systems preferred.
  • Strong teamwork, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
Working Conditions & Physical Demands

Work in a food manufacturing environment with noise, dust, allergens, and PPE requirements. Physically capable of lifting up to 75 lbs, standing for long periods, and performing physical tasks.

Additional Information

Position is entry-level, full-time, in the food & beverages industry, with shifts from 2 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.
