Job summary

Edgewell Personal Care is seeking a machine operator to set up, adjust and operate all pre-grind blade making machinery and peripheral equipment to obtain product of acceptable quality.

This full-time role is project-based with a planned relocation of the plant; employment is expected to end no later than December 2027. The position offers competitive pay, benefits and vacation, aligned with a strong work culture.

Qualifications

• At least six (6) months of manufacturing experience.
• Mechanically inclined.
• Ability to read and interpret instruments and gauges.
• Ability to perform basic math.
• Hands-on experience with general mechanics.
• Experience with hand tools and gauges.
• Good interpersonal and strong verbal/written communication skills.
• Quality awareness and attention to detail.
• Problem solving and troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities

Purpose of Position

Set up, adjust and operate all pre-grind blade making machinery and peripheral equipment to obtain product of acceptable quality.

Essential Duties, Responsibilities And Procedures

• Set up, adjust and operate machinery and equipment to obtain product of acceptable quality.
• As required, perform preventive maintenance
• Perform and record Quality checks.
• As required, relieve operators.

Perform Other Duties As Required.

Required Skills and Experience

• Must have at least six (6) months of manufacturing experience
• Must be mechanically inclined.
• Must be able to correctly read and interpret instruments and gages.
• Must be able to calculate basic math.
• Hands-on experience in general mechanics.
• Past experience with various hand tools and gages.
• Good Interpersonal Skills
• Strong Communication Skills, both Verbal and Written.
• Demonstrates quality awareness and attention to details.
• Demonstrates problem solving and troubleshooting skills.

Preferred Skills And Experience

• Previous experience in Stamping, Perforating or Heat-Treating a plus.
