Job summary

Cretex Medical, a leader in precision components for the medical device industry, seeks an Operator – Assembler. You will inspect, assemble, and package parts, using BOMs and measuring tools while following IPs and OQI requirements.

The role covers hot stamping, welding, and back filling with strong attention to quality and safety. Shifts include early mornings; Cretex offers competitive wages and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in manufacturing or closely related field.
• Experience using a microscope and measuring tools.
• Knowledge of cleanroom procedures and regulations.
• Ability to read and understand work instructions, prints and IPs.
• Basic math skills and ability to document SOPs accurately.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, trim, clean, and package products to customer specifications.
• Use BOM to pull required materials for production.
• Read and understand OQI’s during operations.
• Operate and tend specified equipment, ensuring quality.
• Read gauges and measure parts with calipers and tapes.
• Perform hot stamping, sonic welding, pad printing, resistance welding and back filling.
• Identify faulty equipment and report issues promptly.
• Complete assembly and secondary production tasks.

Operator – Assembler Position Summary

The Operator – Assembler is responsible for operating and tending specified equipment and machines to create parts or products for the medical device industry. They are also responsible for quality checks, assembly, packaging, labeling and moving of product.

Shifts Available

• 6 th : 6:00am-6:30 pm Mon-Wed, every other Sunday

Responsibilities

• Inspect, trim, clean, and package products to customer specifications
• Use Bill of Material (BOM) to pull required materials
• Read and understand Operational Quality Inspections (OQI’s)
• Ability to use measuring equipment (gauge pins, calipers, tape measure)
• Mix chemicals and materials as required
• Ensure the quality of the products being produced
• Responsible for periodic checks on output
• Complete assigned tasks through hot stamping, sonic welding, pad printing, resistance welding and silicone back filling
• Responsible for prompt recognition of faulty equipment
• Perform assembly and secondary production operations

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience
• Experience using a microscope
• Knowledge of clean room environment procedures and regulations
• Knowledge of machinery and equipment
• Ability to read and understand work instructions, prints, and IP’s
• Knowledge of basic math concepts and skills
• Ability to read, comprehend, follow and document work instructions, standard operating procedures, and training documents

Pay Range

USD $18.00 - USD $24.50 /Hr.

Pay Range Details

This pay range reflects the base hourly rate or annual salary for positions within this job grade, based on our market-based pay structures. Actual compensation will depend on factors such as skills, relevant experience, education, internal equity, business needs, and local market conditions. While the full hiring range is shared for transparency, offers are rarely made at the minimum or maximum of the range.
