Job summary

Elanco, a global leader in animal health, is seeking a Production Operator - API to prepare, execute and clean production processes for poultry vaccine manufacturing. You will operate under strict SOPs to safeguard quality, safety, and compliance while supporting continuous production and equipment readiness.

The role involves egg handling, culture processing, centrifugation, filling operations, and cleaning duties.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Egg handling and tissue culture processes including candling, incubation, inoculation, harvest and inactivation.
• Centrifugation, concentration and filling operations (emulsification, liquids, lyophilization).
• Process planning and cleaning/disinfection including washing, wrapping and sterilizing glassware and equipment; loading/unloading autoclaves.
• Ensure materials (chemicals, consumables) are available.
• Use of electronic systems (e.g. SAP) to stage materials.

Your Role: Production Operator - API

The Production Operator is responsible for preparing, executing, and cleaning/turnover of production processes in poultry vaccine production. All tasks are performed in accordance with internal and external guidelines.

Your Responsibilities:

• Egg Handling (egg receipt, traying, disinfection processes, transferring eggs) and egg derived processes & tissue culture (candling, incubation, inoculation, harvest, inactivation)
• Centrifugation, concentration processes, and filling operations (product emulsification, liquid filling processes, lyophilization)
• Process and equipment preparation and process cleaning/disinfection activities including washing, wrapping, and sterilizing of glassware and equipment, loading/unloading autoclaves and disinfecting room surfaces and equipment.
• Ensuring appropriate number of materials (chemicals, consumables, etc.) are available
• Use of electronic systems (e.g. SAP) to stage materials

What You Need to Succeed (Minimum Qualifications):

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Ability to perform routine, repetitive tasks with moderate to limited degree of supervision.
• Ability to perform duties according to established SOP's, production records and company safety procedures.
• Complete training on time to maintain a current and up to date learning plan.

• Understands and practices proper aseptic technique and biosecurity measures
• Ability to concurrently completes documentation and follows established protocols

Additional Information:

• Shift: Monday-Friday, 7am-3:30pm
• Must maintain procedural conformance during all production hours including and not limited to weekday and weekend operations. This may include notifying supervisors/support staff via phone/email/teams to escalation findings of product non-compliances or equipment failures.
