Overview

The Production Operator is responsible for operating and monitoring packaging equipment in a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment. This role ensures that products are packaged according to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), regulatory standards, and company procedures, while maintaining high levels of safety, quality, and efficiency. Cleanroom operations include washing, packaging, vision inspection, steam sterilizer machines and other auxiliary equipment to support the washing, packaging, inspection, and sterilization processes, including SAP interactions in accordance with SOPs and WI to produce rubber stoppers in accordance with productivity standards. This is a weekend position, Friday - Sunday, 11:00 am to 11:30 pm.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor packaging equipment in a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment in accordance with GMP and company procedures.
• Ensure equipment is maintained in a safe, good-working condition and the work area is clean, safe, and organized.
• Monitor equipment performance and recommend improvements.
• Follow organizational and work-specific instructions and attend applicable trainings and meetings.
• Fulfill tasks efficiently and meet productivity standards; organize and perform work effectively.
• Adhere to safety regulations at all times; promote safety standards and identify and report potential safety risks to the line manager.
• Demonstrate initiative, adapt to changes, work reliably, keep commitments, and assume responsibility for entrusted tasks.
• Be open, respectful, and helpful; contribute to problem solving in a team and share knowledge.
• Participate in department or quality team meetings; suggest improvements and help implement them as assigned.
• Train new operators and/or trainees as requested.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
