We are looking for a dedicated Production Operator to join our team on the 3rd shift. This role involves repairing and refurbishing Traction Motor Armatures, along with other related duties in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Repair and refurbish Traction Motor Armatures.
• Prepare and assemble electric motor and blower parts, including machining, coil winding, welding, wiring, insulating, and testing.
• Read blueprints, scales, and operate measurement devices like calipers and micrometers.
• Operate welding and electrical testing equipment, and industrial trucks.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED.
• At least 3 years of experience in manufacturing.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment with high attention to detail.
• Basic shop math skills and ability to read gauges and measuring instruments.
• Preferred: electrical background, welding experience, lathe experience, overhead crane training, forklift license.

Physical Demands

• Wearing PPE on the shop floor.
• Walking, climbing, bending, lifting (up to 45+ pounds), and standing for prolonged periods.
• Exposure to noise, vapors, dust, and other environmental factors.
