Position: Production Machine Operators

Position Type: Full-time, Permanent

Location: New Hudson, MI

Industry: Automotive / Manufacturing

Environment: Production, Assembly, Machine Operating

Pay:

• 1st Shift: $17/hr
• 2nd Shift: $17.75/hr ($17.00/hr + $0.75/hr shift premium)
• 3rd Shift: $18.00/hr ($17.00/hr + $1.00/hr shift premium)
• Weekly Pay via Direct Deposit or Paycard
• $0.50 raise after training completion
• Overtime (1.5x) and Double Time (2x) available

Shift:

• 1st Shift: Mon - Fri 6:00 am – 2:30 pm
• 2nd Shift: Mon - Fri 2:00 pm – 10:30 pm
• 3rd Shift: Sun - Thurs 10:00 pm – 6:30 am
• Voluntary Weekends and Overtime Available

Position Summary:

Production Machine Operators are responsible for producing high-quality custom-engineered products safely. Employees may work in Cold-Heading, Heat Treat, Plating, Sorting, and Collation areas. Success requires a positive attitude, good attendance, and performance.

Position Responsibilities:

• Sort and pack parts accurately and efficiently
• Manufacture cassettes, rivets, and other products
• Troubleshoot and make minor adjustments/maintenance to ensure machine efficiency
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Operate machines to meet efficiency and quality standards
• Work independently and as part of a team to complete tasks
• Complete paperwork such as daily history sheets and manufacturing packs correctly
• Potential forklift operation training and duties
• Enter data correctly into the ERP system
• Perform other duties as assigned

Position Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Prioritize Safety and Quality
• Ability to measure parts with gauges and coating weights
• Basic computer and data entry skills
• Punctual, positive, team-oriented attitude
• Ability to grip, push, and pull carts
• Ability to lift and handle parts up to 50 lbs periodically
• Ability to stand and bend for the entire shift
