Job description

Job Title: Production Operator (2nd Shift)

Role & Responsibilities:
  1. Adhere to all safety and housekeeping requirements within a manufacturing setting.
  2. Operate production equipment, troubleshoot issues, and make adjustments to meet product and quality specifications.
  3. Record production data and results accurately.
  4. Apply basic maintenance skills to service equipment as needed.
  5. Participate actively in plant safety and continuous improvement initiatives as directed by supervision.
  6. Be adaptable to scheduling requirements, including shift work, overtime, and weekend assignments where applicable.
Qualifications & Requirements:
  1. Work safely in a manufacturing environment, following all safety and housekeeping rules.
  2. Learn to operate and troubleshoot plant equipment.
  3. Interpret verbal and written instructions effectively.
  4. Use basic computer skills for data entry and reporting.
  5. Take measurements to verify product specifications.
  6. Possess basic maintenance skills and familiarity with common hand tools (hammer, wrench, screwdrivers, pliers, putty knife, etc.).
  7. Demonstrate effective teamwork and communication skills.
  8. Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
Additional Information:
  • Shift: 2nd Shift – 2:45pm-11:00pm
  • Department: Board Plant
  • Rate of pay may vary based on qualifications and experience.
